The gathering was specifically for the burial of the late Topista Baraba, who had passed away at the age of 90. The sudden and powerful lightning bolt struck the area, causing immediate fatalities and injuries among those present. The seven individuals who sustained injuries during this unexpected natural phenomenon received prompt attention following the incident. This unforeseen tragedy cast a profound shadow over the community, transforming a moment of collective mourning into an additional scene of distress and concern.
