In a significant address regarding the nation’s agricultural progress, President Yoweri Museveni has officially highlighted the extraordinary expansion of Uganda’s dairy industry over the past several decades. The President noted that the sector has experienced a monumental surge in production, climbing from a modest annual output of 200 million litres of milk recorded back in 1986 to an impressive 5.4 billion litres in the current day. President Museveni further characterized this substantial increase as one of the most robust and compelling examples of rural economic transformation achieved through consistent, long-term government intervention and strategic policy support.
