In a significant development for the agricultural sector in Ntungamo District, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, commonly referred to as MAAIF, has officially presided over the distribution of 30,000 high-quality coffee seedlings. This substantial consignment of planting materials was specifically handed over to the local Boda Boda riders operating within the district. This initiative is being implemented as a critical component of a much broader, nationwide strategic effort designed by the government to effectively boost the household incomes of motorcyclists across the entire country. By providing these resources, the Ministry aims to empower the Boda Boda community, ensuring they have sustainable alternative livelihoods while contributing to the national coffee production targets.
