This significant demand from the leader of the CMP comes directly in the wake of a recent and impactful directive from His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. President Museveni’s directive explicitly mandates the banning of pastoralists, particularly the Balaalo community, from operating within the specified regions of Northern Uganda. Sserunga emphasized the critical need for an impartial inquiry to address the complexities and underlying issues of the land conflict, ensuring fairness and clarity for all parties involved following the presidential decree.
