Mr. Kyagulanyi asserts that state security personnel targeted and attacked individuals who were merely exercising their right to participate in these gatherings. He further elaborated on the challenging environment faced by his party and its supporters. Despite what he described as persistent intimidation tactics and direct confrontations with police officers during these events, Mr. Kyagulanyi highlighted the remarkable resilience of the populace. He noted that, irrespective of these obstacles and the tense atmosphere, citizens continued to turn out in significantly large numbers, demonstrating their unwavering support for the National Unity Platform and its political objectives.
