They specifically highlight what they describe as persistent unethical conduct exhibited by certain health workers within public health facilities. This alleged misconduct, they argue, significantly impedes their ability to receive proper care and respectful treatment. Furthermore, a critical issue raised is the pervasive lack of qualified sign language interpreters across these same public health institutions. These two significant factors, according to PWD representatives, collectively contribute to a systemic denial of their fundamental right to essential medical services, thereby compromising their health and overall well-being.
