According to the Minister, this deliberate financial commitment is reflected in the substantial budgetary provision of Shs 6.66 trillion, which has been formally allocated to the education sector for the upcoming Financial Year 2026/27. This major fiscal decision underscores the government’s ongoing dedication to enhancing human capital and ensuring that the country’s educational infrastructure and vocational training programs receive the necessary resources to foster long-term economic growth and development across the nation.
