IGG Issues Final Warning to Public Servants Regarding Mandatory Asset Declarations

The Deputy Inspector General of Government, Honorable Patricia Achan Okiria, has issued a stern and formal directive to all public servants across the nation, mandating that they must fulfill their legal obligation to declare their personal income, accumulated assets, and existing liabilities. This critical administrative exercise must be completed in full compliance with the established regulatory framework well before the fast-approaching deadline of April 30, 2026. Furthermore, the Deputy Inspector General of Government has explicitly cautioned all affected officials that there will be absolutely no extensions granted beyond this specified date, emphasizing that strict adherence to the timeline is required to ensure transparency and accountability within the public sector.
