Minister Mugasa specifically cautioned these officials against the practice of requesting or demanding financial remuneration in exchange for their participation in campaigns aimed at supporting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. She underscored the fundamental principle that leadership, particularly within a political party, is inherently a service to the people and the organization. This service, she emphasized, should be driven by genuine love and unwavering dedication to the party’s ideals and objectives, rather than being motivated by personal financial gain or any form of material incentives.
