In a recent official statement broadcast via UBC TV Uganda, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has addressed the nation regarding the country’s extensive and resilient history in the ongoing battle against various deadly health epidemics. The President emphasized that throughout the years, the government and the people of Uganda have successfully fought and managed several significant outbreaks, most notably including the long-term struggle against AIDS, the global COVID-19 pandemic, and the recurring threats posed by Ebola. President Museveni took this opportunity to remind the public that Ebola remains a particularly aggressive and dangerous disease that requires constant vigilance and a unified national response to ensure the safety and well-being of all citizens across the country.
